Get involved in the most important heritage endeavours undertaken in the UK. Join the new crew of the Mary Rose by volunteering to become an event volunteer and help raise funds for the Mary Rose Appeal. 

Desperately Seeking Henry!!

Wanted Tudor icon. Must have regal bearing, and look convincing in feathered cap, doublet and hose'

Volunteers needed to play Henry VIII for fundraising purposes. Costume and travel expenses provided.  You will need to be able to travel locally and be available at weekends and evenings.

Join our Appeal Ambassadors!

We are looking for people to become our Appeal ambassadors. We need your influence and knowledge of your community to us spread the word about the Mary Rose 500 Appeal. Whether you are a business, an individual or member of a local community group, we would welcome your help in distributing information, finding out about local events and groups who we could approach to support us, or approaching local fundraising groups who would fundraise on our behalf.

All our Appeal volunteers and ambassadors will be kept informed of the fundraising efforts through our Crew Cuts newsletter and will be invited to attend special events and our volunteers’ days at the Mary Rose in the Portsmouth Historic Dockyard.
