A display of costumes from the TV series currently showing on BBC2

Glamour comes to the Mary Rose Museum with a stunning display of costumes from the worldwide hit TV series The Tudors. The exhibition features eight costumes from all four seasons of the award winning show as worn by such Hollywood stars as Joely Richardson, who plays Catherine Parr, and Jonathan Rhys-Meyers as Henry VIII.
Joan Bergin, the costume designer who has won EMMY’s for her costume design has kindly lent the costumes in support of the 500 Appeal. They include each of the six wives, Princess Elizabeth and Henry VIII’s magnificent battle costume featured in the final series.
This is the first time the costumes have been shown in the UK and we are delighted that they have been lent in support of the Mary Rose Appeal.
